Greg
Gleeson,
Partner/COO/Chief Compliance Officer
Greg Gleeson oversees compliance and manages the operating infrastructure of Nicholas Investment Partners. Greg is responsible for compliance, finance and accounting, as well as for managing all external vendors, including the firm’s prime broker, fund administrator, legal counsel and independent auditors.
Prior to joining Nicholas Investment Partners in 2006, Greg was Director of Finance for Nicholas-Applegate, which he joined in 1998. He managed all financial analysis, budgeting and internal accounting, taxation and reporting requirements. While at Nicholas-Applegate, Greg also served on the Executions Committee which dealt with compliance and operational issues and participated in SEC, NASD and CFTC compliance examinations. Previously, he was an Audit Manager for Ernst & Young and an Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked exclusively with asset management firms. Greg is a CPA and CFA, and holds a B.A. in Business Economics/Accounting, cum laude, from the University of California Santa Barbara, and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School, University of California Los Angeles.

Rommel
Diawatan,
Controller
Rommel is responsible for accounting functions that include investment accounting and billing. Rommel has worked with the Nicholas’s for over twenty years in various accounting roles. Prior to joining Nicholas Investment Partners, he served for fifteen years as Vice President-Finance at Nicholas-Applegate. Rommel is licensed as a CPA in the Philippines and holds a B.A. in Accounting from Laguna College, the Philippines.

Loretta
LoMonaco,
Asst. Compliance Officer Accounting Manager
Loretta LoMonaco is responsible for assisting Greg Gleeson in compliance related activities. She also assists in preparing corporate financial statements for Nicholas Investment Partners. Loretta has worked with the Nicholas’ for 20 years in various accounting roles. Prior to joining Nicholas Investment Partners, she served for fifteen years as Assistant Vice President in the Finance Department at Nicholas-Applegate.
